CBN bows to pressure, extends deadline for naira swap to February 10.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the extension of the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes to February 10, 2023.
The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele, announced the extension in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja.
There had been mounting pressure from Nigerians for the extension of the deadline, which was slated for January 31,2023.
