Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, on Wednesday evening met with President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
The governor arrived at the Presidential Villa at about 6:45pm, according to the State House media office.
The meeting comes days after the deadly Palm Sunday attack in Angwan Rukuba area of Jos, which reportedly left at least 27 persons dead.
The development also follows an earlier directive by the President summoning the governor for discussions over the worsening security situation in Plateau State.
The meeting was expected to focus on immediate security measures to prevent further attacks in Plateau.
