The governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa state, has sacked Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared David Ombugadu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as winner of the election.
Delivering judgment on Monday in the petition filed by Ombugadu and the PDP challenging the election of Sule in the March 18, governorship election, two of the justices said Ombugadu won the election, while one judge dissented.
