The Secretary to the Plateau state government (SSG), Samuel Jatau, announced this in a statement on Tuesday evening in Jos.
According to the statement, the decision was taken by the governor as part of ongoing efforts to reposition the government for greater efficiency, improved service delivery, and alignment with the administration’s strategic priorities.
The affected appointees, according to the SSG, include;

Nanbol Rimvyat, Liaison Officer, Langtang North
Nannim Langyi, Liaison Oficer, Langtang North, Paul Datugum, Liaison Officer, Quaan Pan North and Nimchak Rims, Liaison Officer, Langtang South.
The governor also suspended Johnbull Shekarau, Chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, “for conduct inconsistent with the standard and
administrative procedures expected of the Chairman of the Commission, which
are currently under review by the government.”
The statement directed the sacked appointees to immediately hand over all official documents and property in their possession to the appropriate offices.
Mutfwang who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in November 2025.
Sources said the sacking of the appointees may be connected with their refusal to join the APC.
