Gov. Lawal inspect projects in Shinkafi LGA, says Zamfara rescue mission yielding results 

Governor of Zamfara state, Dauda Lawal, has said that his administration’s rescue mission is yielding desired results across the state.
The governor spoke on Wednesday during an inspection tour of ongoing projects in Shinkafi LGA of the state.
A statement by Sulaiman Idris,spokesperson to the governor said Lawal inspected the Women and Children Welfare Clinic Primary Healthcare Centre in Shinkafi town, which he noted has been awarded a full renovation.
The governor also visited the fully renovated and equipped General Hospital in Shinkafi, noting that the facility has been transformed with state-of-the-art equipment capable of handling emergencies.
Lawal also launched an empowerment programme initiated by Bello Hassan Shinkafi, a member representing Shinkafi/Zurmi in the House of Representatives.
He commended the lawmaker for the empowerment and urged other stakeholders to prioritise human development.
Under the initiative, 2,000 beneficiaries received luxury cars, tricycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, and other items.
Speaking at the palace of the Emir of Shinkafi, the governor reiterated his commitment to executing capital projects across the state.
“We are in Shinkafi today to inspect numerous key projects of my administration and to launch the empowerment programme of Honourable Bello Hasan, member representing the Shinkafi/Zurmi constituency.
The governor said, “We have fully renovated and equipped the General Hospital in Shinkafi.
“The abandoned hospital now features state-of-the-art equipment capable of addressing the emergency needs of the people.
“The referral hospital will be a game changer not only in Shinkafi LGA but also for the Zamfara north senatorial zone.
“It will ease a significant burden for people battling illnesses who are seeking serious medical attention.
“The state government acquired the former Bafarawa Institute and will house the faculty of medical sciences of the Zamfara State University.
“The school is undergoing serious work to complete it for effective utilization.”
