Sani, “As elected leaders, we are fully aware of the developmental gaps in our respective states.
“If you come up with programmes without engaging the governors and aligning with our priorities, those programmes are unlikely to succeed.

He added that involving local stakeholders will not only create a sense of ownership among citizens but also increase the likelihood of successful implementation of projects.
“Even we, as governors, do not have the monopoly of wisdom. It is important to engage with the people directly and come up with realistic, time-bound plans that address actual needs”, the governor said.
He pledged full support for the Commission’s activities and announced the donation of office accommodation and a utility vehicle to facilitate its operations in Kaduna state.
Speaking earlier, Abdullahi thanked the governor for the warm reception and reiterated the Commission’s commitment to collaboration and transparency.
He noted that while the Commission is still in its early stages, substantial progress has been made toward becoming fully operational.
“Our mandate is to intervene, collaborate, and support. We are ready to work hand-in-hand with the governors to formulate and implement a 10-year development plan that will benefit the entire North West region”, Abdullahi said.
